She’s half chihuahua and half beagle. She’s missing an eye, there’s a part of her that is shaved (probably from some surgery), and her tail has been tucked between her legs ever since she came here.
But she kisses me when I hold her, trots along my feet, and stares after me with hopeful eyes.
Her name is Bambi and I do believe she is mine.

So I was all like about to say wow great job getting compliments!!! Until I hit the line that said “weird”…. So all she said was “weird” and you took it as a compliment? LOL JK But it would’ve been funny if so!
LOL. You dork. The way you said, “weird” over and over was in the form of a compliment though. EEEEHHEEHEHEEHHEHEH I AM SMILING REMEMBERING IT.
Aah~ Thank you! This is such a sweet comment… I’m very touched.
I hope you have a very good rest of the week ^^ ♥♥♥
She is this beautiful painter whose subject is raw meat. I came across her work some time ago and was inspired. Her meat paintings are delicately done and have a comical undertone that is refreshing. I kept her meat paintings in the back of my head when working on my own “carnal decor” for my watercoloring class.
Tonight, she gave a lecture in my drawing class and I couldn’t have been happier. I got the opportunity to tell her how inspired I was by her paintings and even showed her pieces of my work. She was astonished by my meat painting (HIGHEST PRAISE EVER, REALLY) and continued to look through my sketchbook (I WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY EMBARRASSED. SHOULD’VE BROUGHT THE MOLESKIN).
She saw panels for my “Night in Nightmare” project and flattered me with compliments. I’m trying not to sound high and mighty writing this, but I was really happy and want to record this moment. She continued calling my drawings, “weird”, which really flattered me.
Victoria is sweet, genuine, and quirky. I’m really thankful to have met her and have her blessing as an illustrator :)
GIVES ME HOPE
Sincerely,
A very flattered admirer
Haha and here I was feeling emo about my art today, too! This cheered me up lots. Thank you, kind person OuO/ ♥♥♥
… and it was pretty good. I went with the same group I usually watch all the movies with. We laughed inappropriately and received evil stares, not surprising. Even though I don’t consider myself a true fan of Harry Potter (I never really read any of the books but the last), I do cherish the series as something from “my generation”.
I still remember in second (or third? or fourth?) grade when my teacher tried reading our class the first book and none of us bothered to pay attention.
So weird.

Labyrinth fanfic. This is kind of embarrassing of me to post, but I did promise to update my blog more with any kind of writing (blog, fiction, fanfiction…). I’m trying to keep this as my main blog rather than having blogspot, livejournal, etc etc…
Anyways.
Dear Diary,
Today my friends accompanied my grandma, sibling, and me to the hospital. It was very out of their way and kind of them to do. I really appreciated it.
We also ate at Shin Sen Gumi, played LB2, and watched our dogs play with each other. While I was watching my grandma, my friends and cousin’s boyfriend took our dogs to my old elementary school (it’s only about a 100 feet away…). Later, my friend (who is living with me for the summer) played his guitar while my brother and I drew. It was pretty pleasant.
Today’s weather was lovely. Here’s to hoping carmagedon doesn’t ruin everyone’s good mood.
Sincerely,
Grumpy little granddaughter
