im glad to see you're posting again :)

<333 thank you. Still trying to get back into the habit of things :)

Read Hooked from the Constantine line of comics… Julian was pretty cool. I was a bit sad he didn’t really appear more often. Sick little weirdo.

Here are some miscellaneous things. The top sketch was drawn while watching Dark City— some pretty triply stuff!! I can see where Matrix might or might not have had some of it’s inspiration.

@inaaca said: Y’know, I gotta ask because I’ve been curious. What inspired your style of drawing? Particularly in the faces, did you pull from anything as you developed it?

Hey Sean, hope you’re doing well :DDD

I’m inspired mostly by the idea of mixing pin up girls and old school story books to create something that is kind of cartoony, kind of romantic, and with a dash of horror… yikes.

Artists I frequent are:

 • Max Ernst
 • Charles Dana Gibson
 • Otto Schmidt
 • Rockin’ Jelly Bean
 • Junji Itou
 • Yoshihiro Togashi

A lot of these artists I like for how they manipulate their faces in particular. It would be weird to mix all of them into one huge clustercuss, but I do find myself revisiting these artists mentally as I draw.

I’m still far from my ~dream style, though haha. But I think these things also grow as you draw.
